Florence Dorothy Gladue
1933-2019
Florence Gladue was born in Lac La Biche, Alberta on December 7, 1933, to Rosalie and Oliver Cardinal. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Athabasca Extendicare on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at the age of 85 years.
Florence is survived by her children; Iris (Duane) Gambler, Clarice (Chester Risby) Gladue, Beatrice (Lawrence) Bigstone, Rose (Peter Bigstone) Gladue, Fred (Carmella) Gladue, Linda (Ivan Shivak) Gladue, Don Gladue, Monica (Elvis) Thain, as well as numerous extended family and close friends.
A wake service will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 26, 2019, at the Calling Lake Community Hall. The funeral mass will follow at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at the Calling Lake Community Hall. Interment to take place at the Calling Lake Community Cemetery.
