The family of Garry William Thwaites are saddened to announce his passing on August 22, 2022.
Garry was born on December 3,1956 to parents Robert and Elsie Thwaites. Later in his life, he met Wanda and they married and had two beautiful daughters.
He was a man of many talents. Garry was an amazing husband, father, son, grandpa, and friend. He loved his grandkids immensely and was able to see his new grandson, Landin, via FaceTime.
Garry leaves behind his loving spouse of 21 years, Kim Vongrad; his sister Diane (Brady) of Oliver, BC; 3 daughters: Valene Thwaites of Oliver, BC., Crystal Thwaites of West Kelowna (Dean), and Samantha Lautamus of Hamilton, Ontario; 2 boys: Dion Lautamus of Edmonton, AB and Christian Lautamus of Hamilton, Ontario; as well as six grandchildren: Chase, Mataya, Landin, Maverick, Jackson, and Karter.
He will be forever in our hearts and can now rest in peace with his mom and dad in heaven. We love you and till we see you again.
