James Reid
1928-2021
Jim was born in Scotland on June 2, 1928. His family immigrated to Canada on April 26, 1930, and settled in Clandonald, Alberta. They moved to Athabasca in 1947.
Jim is survived by his wife Anna of 69 years, his sons; Lyle (Lynnet) and Rob (Leanne), daughters; Joanne (Sam) Smith, Elaine (Jeff) Loewen, Donna (Scott) Bell, and Tracy (Mike) Baron, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his son Lorne, granddaughter Andrea, sister Jemima Oakes, brothers Roger and Mark.
Cremation has taken place and a family memorial will be held at a later date.
