John Edward McConnell

Mr. John Edward McConnell of Athabasca passed away suddenly in Wabasca, Alberta on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at the age of 49 years.
Johnny leaves to mourn his loving wife Shera, his sons; Quentin and Colton, his parents; John and Margie, brother Marvin (Dorothy), parents-in-law; Lyle and Cindy Martens, brothers-in-law Scott (Kim) Martens and James Martens, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Johnny was predeceased by his beloved sister Colleen McConnell.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 1:00 pm at the Athabasca Agriplex.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a trust fund that has been set up at the CIBC Athabasca for Johnny’s boys.
