John Rosich
1939 - 2017
John J. Rosich, Sr., of Greencastle, Indiana, USA passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle.
John was retired from Kemper Insurance and American States as a Special Loss expert. He was born on December 24, 1939 in Ellscott, Alberta, Canada to Joseph and Theresa (Brkich) Rosich. On January 15, 1972, he married Jeanne (McCormick) Rosich, who preceded him in death in 2015.
His interests included: Amateur Radio where he held call sign K9UC; Master Gardener; and a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. He was also an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Greencastle. Preceding him in death were his parents, his eldest sister Mary (Rosich) Bicanic and brother George. Survivors include son John, sisters Katherine, Anna, and Michelle; nephews Joseph (Sara) Rosich, and Peter Bicanic, and niece Theresa Bicanic, and several great-nieces.
Service will be held at 11am at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church on Saturday August 19, 2017. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Canadian Cancer Institute.
