It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Kevin Randal Witney. He was taken from this Earth on September 28, 2026, at the age of 42.
Kevin was born on January 29, 1984, in Edmonton, Alberta. He was the first born to Randy and Joan Witney. Kevin was promoted to Big Brother at the age of two, when his sister Kimberly was born. Kevin grew up in the country with his family where he enjoyed many different hobbies. Kevin loved music, trucks, cool cars, dogs and eventually cats too. Kevin enjoyed spending nights around a big fire and listening to music.
Kevin was well known in his community and made many friends through the years. Kevin was well-spoken, confident, smart, empathetic and compassionate towards others. Kevin had a heart of gold and helped people whenever he could. Kevin loved to spend time with people he cared about and loved.
Kevin was predeceased by his parents; Randy and Joan Witney.
Kevin leaves behind his sister, Kimberly (Donny) Romanyshyn; his nephews - Carter and Luke Romanyshyn; and his niece – Kendall Romanyshyn. Kevin also leaves behind his beloved dogs - Mindy, Abby and Lucky. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by many friends who were like family.
