1956-2018
Lorraine Shalapay – Deisting of Westlock, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 after a short battle with cancer in the Westlock Healthcare Centre at the age of 61 years.
Lorraine is survived by her two sons, Kyle and Jamie, Jamie’s wife Leann and two daughters, Kate, and Rachel.
Lorraine was born on May 15, 1956 in Athabasca, where she also spent most of her life. She went to school in Athabasca and raised her family there. Later, she moved to Ft. Saskatchewan, Edmonton and then to Westlock.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Athabasca Community Chapel.
