It is with heavy hearts we announce that on Friday, February 18th, 2022, Louis Arial of Baptiste Lake passed away at the age of 87.
Louis was born and raised in Edmonton and where he spent his younger years. After retirement Louis and his wife Peggy moved up to Baptiste Lake where they spent their summers. Mesa, AZ was their winter home for the last 25 years.
Louis leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Margaret (Peggy) Arial. Together they raised five wonderful children. He is survived by daughters: Jean (Allen) Schreiber, Margaret (Gerald) Letkeman and Beverly (Dave) Hisaw; and son Terry (Hannah Duford) Arial; and had eight amazing grandchildren: Kyle, Leslie, Kurtis, Kennedy, Ethan, Liam, Sam, and Josh.
Louis will be sadly missed by his sister: Rose-Marie (Gary) Kump; nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He was pre-deceased by his father: Aldas “Al”; mother: Alice “Gibby”; brothers: Robert, Gerald “Jerry”; his loving son Ronald Albert; and granddaughters: Robyn and Janelle.
A service will be held at St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church in Athabasca, Alberta at on Saturday, February 26th, 2022 11:00 a.m.
