Louis Galus passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2022 at the age of 96.
He was born December 20th, 1925 in Radgoszcz, Poland. In 1932, Louis and his mother joined his father at the family homestead in the Pleasant View area. Louis attended the Laura school until grade 5, leaving school to work on the farm. After leaving home, Louis worked in logging camps and on road construction. He bought a quarter section of land across from the Galus homestead. Louis resided there until he moved to town in the early 2000’s.
Louis was predeceased by his parents: Stan and Amelia; siblings: Mary Gorski, Charlie, Mike, Edward and Julian; as well as nephew: Neil.
He is survived by his brother: Walter (Julie); sisters: Wanda Chorzempa and Stasia (Mike) Bolinski; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family service was held.
