Mary Ann Newberry
1942-2020
Mary Ann Patricia Newberry of Athabasca passed away peacefully at the Athabasca Hospital on June 30, 2020, at the age of 78 years.
She was born to Paul and Beatrice Offroy on May 21, 1942, in Wayne, Alberta, and graduated from Edwin Parr High School. She married Louis Newberry in 1960 and worked at the Athabasca Health Unit until she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, reading, traveling, gardening and volunteering at the school and Pleasant Valley Lodge.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughter Michelle, her son Shawn, her grandson Kevan and her brother Andy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband Louis, her son Kevin, her brother Paul and her sisters Alice and Gloria.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at the All Saint's Anglican Church.
