Mike Homa
1928-2018
With heavy hearts we said goodbye to Mike Homa on April 27, 2018 at the age of 89 years.
We will all miss his contagious laugh the twinkle in his eyes and his sense of humor.
Mike was born in Athabasca on August 16, 1928 and was the second child of Mike Sr. and Irena Homa. Mike married Katie Schmid on July 17, 1954 and together they had 5 children.
Mie is survived by his children Michael (Elaine), John (Karen), Barbara (Larry), Frank (Penny) and Steve (Wanda),7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, brother Bill and daughter-in-law Elaine.
Private family service to be held.
