It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that we as a family, announce the passing of a Great Man, Loving Husband, Father, Papa, Brother, Uncle and Mentor, Neil Gordon Strong, on January 25, 2017 at the age of 67.
Neil’s love for his family and his passion for life will never be forgotten.
Neil is survived by his loving wife Lucille, daughter Sherrie (Vince) Van Nest, son Danny (Christine) Strong, grandchildren Nathan, Lauren, Jillian, Tyson, Shawn, Donovan and Nayte. Sisters Judy Strong, Sharon (Bob) Berger, Jeanette (John) Ford, brothers David (Diana) Strong, Jim Strong, Allan (Anita) Strong, Todd (Lucil) Strong and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
We would like to thank Dr. Adie and the nurses at the Athabasca Healthcare Centre for the wonderful care and kindness given during his final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at The Athabasca Multiplex. Interment to be held later at the Meanook Cemetery.
