It is with deep sadness that the family of Pauline Larson announces her passing on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the age of 95 years.

Pauline will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters - Carolyn McGonigal (Brian) of St. Paul, Beverly Franchuk (Terry) of Barrhead; and her two sons Alvin Larson of Boyle, and Ron Larson (Andrea) of Boyle; daughter-in-law Donna Larson of Boyle and son-in-law Keith Adams of Spruce Grove.

Pauline will also be fondly remembered by her thirteen grandchildren - Alexandra (Gary), Kevin, Laura, Steven, KeriLyn (Shannon), Terrance, Kelvin (Sarah), Christine (Shawn), Rebecca (Daniel), Scott, Neil, Samantha, and Katelyn; ten great-grandchildren - Jackson, Keagan, Bronwyn, Parker, Holleigh, Travis, Jolene, Liam, Noah and Emerson; three brothers – Victor (Geraldine), Nick (Dalene) and Alex (Nina); numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline was predeceased by her loving husband Ernest; parents Steve and Sally Nakonechny; brother William; daughter Loretta and son Kenneth.

Pauline, a lifelong resident of Boyle, enjoyed her family, her garden, chickens and yard, cooking, sewing and knitting, painting, playing guitar alongside Ernest’s fiddle and all her farming activities.

In memory of Pauline, a viewing will be held from 10:15 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. prior to the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18th at the Boyle and District Senior Citizens Association Drop-In Centre, 4800-3St S, Boyle.

Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Boyle Healthcare Centre, Athabasca Healthcare Centre and Athabasca Extendicare for their care and support.
