On Wednesday, December 21st, 2022, Pearl Day of Athabasca passed away at the age of 96.
Our beloved 'Aunty Pearl' leaves to mourn her sister in law, Elsie Martin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pearl was predeceased by her husband Scott (Bud) Day; her brothers: Clarence, Dave and Fred Martin; sister-in-laws: Mildred and Louise Martin, Mona Simms, and Berna Sizer; and brother-in-laws Jack and Doug Day.
We would like to thank the staff at Pleasant Valley Lodge and Athabasca Extendicare for their kindness while Pearl lived there. We would also like to thank Dr. Burger and the Athabasca Hospital staff for the excellent care they provided for Pearl.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Pearl at South Athabasca Hall on June 5th of 2023.
Donations in Pearl's memory may be made to Athabasca Extendicare or to the Pleasant Valley Lodge.
