It is with great sadness that the family of Ralph Kamprath announce his passing on the morning of August 7, 2026 after a long battle with lymphoma. He will be remembered by: his wife Tanya; children Chelsea (Nathan), Erich (Pei), Alexandra, and Jordan (Carley); granddaughter Hazel; siblings Freddie, Ulrike (Robert), Fritz (Nada), and Thorine (Don); aunt Helga; and the rest of the extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Fritz and Lotte, and brother Birger.
Born in Fort William, Ontario on August 30, 1958, Ralph called many places home through his early years but referred to Jasper as his hometown. He moved to Boyle in 1979 where he met and married Tanya, calling it home for the rest of his life. Here they raised four wonderful children, built a farm, and ran a well regarded towing business for 33 years. He loved his cats, cows, classic cars, sailing, travelling, watching all kinds of sports, and passed on many of his interests and related knowledge to his kids.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Cross Cancer Institute and Boyle Healthcare Centre for his care, and especially Dr. Van der Merwe and Dr. Peters for their compassion and dedication.
A celebration of his life will be held on August 30, 2026 at the Boyle Seniors Drop-In Centre at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cross Cancer Institute Volunteer Association or the Boyle Healthcare Auxiliary.
