It is with profound sadness that the family of Thomas Van Hout announce his passing on May 29, 2023 at the age of 68 years old.
Tom (Dad, Grandpa, Opa) will be forever missed by his loving, caring wife of 40 years, Bev, and their children, Howard Duperron (Ronnie), Bob Duperron, Allen Van Hout (Rhyan), Tracey Polak (Dave), Bonnie Van Hout (Travis), all of his grandchildren: Angie Duperron, Amanda Duperron, Ben Duperron, Reillee Duperron, Jaden Polak, Alicin Polak, Luke Arthur, Aven Arthur, and great grandchildren Ryder Bjorn, Chayce Werenka, Owen Werenka, and Grayson Nazaruk.
He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Martha Patry (Don), Neil Van Hout (Sharon), Joyce Sherwin (Shane), Ted Van Hout (Claire) and numerous nieces, nephews and family in the Netherlands who adored him.
Tom was predeceased by his son Kevin in 1976, daughter Sheri in 1990, father Thomas Van Hout in 2003, and mother Suzanna Van Hout in 2019.
Tom had a heart of gold, a great sense of humour and a passion for what he believed in. He enjoyed his family visitors and found peace in his home at the lake. He will be so missed by all of his family, near and far, and his many friends he has made over the years.
A celebration of life will be held at the Island Lake Hall on June 17th, 2023 for family at 1pm and family and friends from 2-5 pm as a drop in.
