Mr. Walter Ernest Howse, of Buffalo Lake, Alberta, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, March 8th, 2020, at the age of 85 years.
He is survived by his nine loving children, Carrie Anne Howse, of Edmonton, AB, Sharon (Blair) Howse of Belleville, ON, Cheryl Howse of Buffalo Lake, AB, Walter Howse Jr. of Buffalo Lake, AB, Tanya Howse of Edmonton, AB, Shannon Howse of Buffalo Lake, AB, Horace (Charity) Howse of Lac La Biche, AB, Frankie Howse of Lac La Biche, AB, and Michelle Howse of Buffalo Lake, AB; his sister, Doreen Spence of Calgary, AB; and his 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Beatrice Howse; his son, Cody Faron Howse; his parents, Horace Washington Howse and Eliza Jane Howse; his four sisters, Lena Gladue, Mildred Cardinal, Grace LaRose, and Gertrude Howse; and his four brothers, Marshall Howse, Joseph Howse, George Howse, and Jimmy Howse.
