Wyonna Jones
1934-2018
It was with many tears that we said goodbye to Wyonna Jones on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at the age of 84. She is pre-deceased by her grandson, Corrie; all her siblings, Neil, Shirley, Tina, Norman; and her husband, Garfield H. Jones. She is lovingly survived by her children, Bill (Verna), John (Tilda), Kathy (Scott), Tammy (Rob); 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous “adopted” children and grandchildren.
Wyonna (Jessie) Jones was born on May 26, 1934 in Hardwood Ridge, New Brunswick where her parents Violet and William Demmons rooted their morals, values, and knowledge on raising a family into their daughter. Being the eldest in the house, hard work was no stranger to her as she played a significant role in her sibling’s upbringing. On November 23, 1950, she wed her husband at the age of 16 where they shared many travels, triumphs, and timeless memories.
Wyonna loved fiercely and was fiercely loved. Her devoted nature, witty charm, and baked goods will truly be missed by many. We will hold you tightly within our hearts and there you will remain; you see life will go on without you but it will never be the same.
As per Wyonna's wishes, no formal service will be held at this time.
