Yvonne Alma Casavant (née Beauchamp) of Athabasca, Alberta, passed away on November 22, 2016 at the age of 86, in St. Albert, Alberta.
Yvonne was born in Legal, Alberta on September 1, 1930. She was married to Albert Casavant on November 15, 1950; they were married 66 years.Yvonne enjoyed cooking, baking, and reading novels. Her favourite pastimes included knitting, playing cards, and watching sports and game shows on television. She was also actively involved in the Colinton Seniors’ Club, the Athabasca Seniors, and the Catholic Women’s League.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Albert; children Louise (Jerry) Nickolas, Robert (Shirley) Casavant, Rita (Myles) Fertig, and Theresa Polok (Calvin Chernish); siblings Irene (Louis) Villeneuve, Robert (Henriette) Beauchamp, and Paul (Rose) Beauchamp; sisters-in-law Kathy Beauchamp (Armand) and Collette Beauchamp (Marcel); seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous family and friends.
Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents Edith and Lucien Beauchamp; brothers Alcide Beauchamp (sister-in-law Eileen Beauchamp), Marcel Beauchamp, Armand Beauchamp; sister Léa Beauchamp; and grandson Travis Fertig.
