Muriel Ann Rumbolt (née Morris) was born in Robinsons, Newfoundland on June 4, 1943. Muriel moved to Fort McMurray, Alberta in 1978 with her beloved husband, Roy Rumbolt and children. In 2000, they moved to their forever home in Long Lake, Alberta.
Muriel was a loving mother and grandmother, and she passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025 in Fort McMurray. She was predeceased by her seven siblings, and is survived by her six children (Christopher, Gilbert, Rosemarie, Jennifer, Patricia and Bruce), ten grandchildren (Ellie, Rebecca, Justine, Alexander, Phoebe, Violet, Daria, Samantha, Cassandra, and Atticus), and also had the joy of meeting six great-grandchildren (Payton, Aiden, Harlow, Briseis, Cash, and Desmond).
Muriel's passion was sewing beautiful quilts for her family and friends. She and Roy were a part of the Anglican church community in Boyle. She will be greatly missed by all her loved ones.
