Dale Kapitaniuk
Assistant Manager / Funeral Director and Embalmer
Dale Kapitaniuk was born and raised in Athabasca and has spent his life serving and investing in the place he calls home. In 1992, Dale founded Athabasca Community Chapel, where he faithfully served for many years. After semi-retiring in 2015 and passing leadership to the Caring Group, Dale remains on staff part time and continues to serve families.
Dale is a proud father to his son Derek, and loves being involved in the community. When he isn’t attending one of the many events around town, you’ll likely find him enjoying one of the area’s lakes, fishing and making the most of the outdoors.
His years of service, genuine care for others, and love for the Athabasca community have made Dale a valued and familiar face to many.
