Dianna Coverly

Funeral Attendant

Born and raised in Grassland, Alberta, Dianna has always had a strong connection to her community and the people around her. She and her husband are proud parents of two daughters, Shaunna and Lee Ann, and she is blessed to be a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Dianna spent many years working at Alberta Pacific Forest Industries before following her passion for the funeral industry. In 2017, she joined Athabasca Community Chapel as a Funeral Attendant, where she finds great meaning in helping serve and support families during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Outside of work, Dianna enjoys staying active. You can often find her catering, golfing, or camping and making memories with the people she loves the most.

About Us

Funeral care built around clarity and trust

Athabasca Community Chapel was locally owned and operated by Dale Kapitaniuk for many years before joining The Caring Group in 2015. Pamela Durdle is our Manager and Funeral Director today, with Dale still here as Assistant Manager and Funeral Director. With our on-site crematorium, completed in fall 2016, your loved one never leaves our care, and there is no need to travel to the city.
