Kaleigh Collison was born and raised in Sherwood Park, Alberta, and now calls the Athabasca area home. She has been part of Athabasca Community Chapel since 2021 obtaining her Funeral Director and Embalmer license from the Canadian College of Funeral Service in 2024.

Outside of work, Kaleigh enjoys spending time with her husband, Shane, and their two dogs, Roo and Senna. In her spare time, you can find her tackling DIY projects around her home, playing with her dogs, or enjoying time with friends and family.

Funeral care built around clarity and trust

Athabasca Community Chapel was locally owned and operated by Dale Kapitaniuk for many years before joining The Caring Group in 2015. Pamela Durdle is our Manager and Funeral Director today, with Dale still here as Assistant Manager and Funeral Director. With our on-site crematorium, completed in fall 2016, your loved one never leaves our care, and there is no need to travel to the city.
