Manager, Funeral Director & Embalmer

Pamela Durdle was born and raised in Boyle, Alberta, and began her career in funeral service in 2002 under the direction of Dale Kapitaniuk. Her journey has now come full circle, as she proudly manages the funeral home where she continues to serve the people she grew up with.

Pamela takes great pride in providing compassionate and professional care to families throughout the area. She is honored to serve the community that has always been home.

Pamela is married to her husband, Craig, and they have one son, Spencer. The family lives in Legal, Alberta, and enjoys spending time together camping and making memories in the outdoors.

Funeral care built around clarity and trust

Athabasca Community Chapel was locally owned and operated by Dale Kapitaniuk for many years before joining The Caring Group in 2015. Pamela Durdle is our Manager and Funeral Director today, with Dale still here as Assistant Manager and Funeral Director. With our on-site crematorium, completed in fall 2016, your loved one never leaves our care, and there is no need to travel to the city.
